Can I get the vocals removed from non-english songs?
Yes - we accept songs that are in any language.
Can I really send you any song? Even copyright songs?
Yes. You can send us any song for processing, including copyright songs as long as you have legal permission from the copyright holder to do so. Ultimately, it is your responsibility to not breach copyright and authorship laws surrounding intellectual property. Please see our Terms and Conditions for more details.
Shouldn't I try to separate vocals myself instead?
That’s certainly an option. Unfortunately though, most of the free tutorials out there demonstrate inefficient methods that yield lackluster results. However, we will provide some solid recommendations in the future for individuals that want to go solo.
What is your refund policy?
We offer a very open no-hassle, 100% money-back guarantee on every song order within 30-days of initial purchase. If the song you are refunding was purchased in a bundle package, then we will refund you for the dollar value of that individual song for that package. To claim your refund, simply use the contact form and choose Refund Request from the dropdown menu. Refunds take about 5 to 10 business days to process.
Can I try your service for free?
While at the moment we do not have a specific mechanism in place to officially let new users try our service for free, we do allow refunds. So, if you want to try us for free, simply take advantage of our no-hassle refund policy (please, only one song per customer).
How does Song Peel remove song vocals?
Unfortunately, our method is proprietary and we cannot share it. It would be like asking Coke what their secret recipe is.
What are requirements on files I upload for processing?
We will take literally any audio file that you have, but we love uncompressed lossless audio files as they tend to yield the best results. We also accept lossy .mp3 files, which are generally okay as long as they have a high bit-rate. These are the file types that we currently support: .wav, .aiff, .mp3, .wma, .aac, .sd2, .bwf, .ogg, .flac
Are there any limitations on file size when uploading?
File uploads cannot exceed 50MB per file. If you have a file that exceeds this limit, please contact us and we will try our best to accommodate.
Do accept video formats?
Unfortunately, we do not accept video formats at this time
Do you accept mono tracks?
We sure do! And you can expect to receive the same great results as with stereo files.
How will I receive my processed songs?
Our current method for delivery is email. During checkout, we ask you to provide a reliable email address which you have access to.
What will I receive back?
For each song that you send us for processing, we will make an instrumental (karaoke ready) version and a vocals only version. You will receive both versions back in separate files!
What file format will my new processed tracks be?
All processed tracks will be exported and delivered as a 160 kbps mp3 file.
Can I receive higher bitrate or lossless files instead?
Unfortunately, we currently do not have the proper infrastructure in place to support this request. However, it will most likely be available as an add-on in the future.
Can I merge multiple songs into a single audio file and upload it?
Unfortunately, no. If we were to receive a file like that, we would only process the first song in that file. As our service is on a per song basis, not per file.
